Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory

Sometimes I don't have to travel to actually put the camera to use.

Last week we checked out the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory, since we were already up that way to buy honey from our favourite local dealer.

Its smaller than Niagara but the butterflies were quite diverse, pretty, and healthy looking.

East Coast 2015 Wrap Up

From Quebec to Nova Scotia to Newfoundland to Labrador and back again, it was a great roadtrip.

I put close to 7700kms on the SRT in the end and managed to see quite a lot of the east side of the country.

This completes the trip galleries, so I've added it to my travel destinations.

Sleeping Giant Provincial Park

Camping was great.

Even the dog enjoyed it.

I ate lots of marshmallows and hot dogs.

Got to love camp fires.

Camping

Spending 2011 working overseas made me come to appreciate Ontario.
I've been back in the GTA for over a year and a half now, and still haven't exhausted my options for photo-exploration activities.
Obviously, the summer and fall seasons have a lot more to explore than the winter, so I've been taking advantage of every last free moment I have to go out and photograph something.
This weekend we'll be off camping.
So, of course, pics will follow.

So one of the best parts, photo-opportunity-wise, of a trip to Thunder Bay is the deer.
They are quite easy to find.
And with a few apples, quite easy to coax into modelling for you.

Christmastime

For Christmas we travelled back to Thunder Bay and I managed to snap a few pictures of the falls, the marina, the Hoito and some deer.



I'm a little busy with the day job but at some point, I'm hoping to edit them and a post a few up here on the site.

Just got back from a two week road trip back home to Thunder Bay.
